“Creating with my hands is a kind of therapy. Painting becomes a place of solitude, healing, and release. Each piece is like a window into warmth, nostalgia, and renewal.”
Hannah Carrick (b. 1988, Australia) is a Byron Bay–based artist whose practice explores biophilia, the innate connection between humans and nature and the healing potential of the creative process. Her work invites introspection, weaving together themes of femininity, emotion, and the body as landscape.
Carrick has presented four solo exhibitions, including at Yeah Nice Gallery, Rainbow Studios, and Saint Cloche, and has participated in group exhibitions across Los Angeles, Paris, and Hong Kong. Her work is represented internationally by The Tappan Collective & Etesian Gallery.
