Presented in the gallery’s cave space, Sculptures for Bettina brings together works conceived during the artist's, Daniel Mandelbaum, years in Mallorca.

This particular collection of sculptures was made during Daniel’s time in Mallorca, and exemplifies Dan’s incredible approach to, and mastering of stone from Carrara marble to limestone, creating incredulous forms and often using compositions of various stones and ceramic inserts, that leave us mesmerised.

The apparent randomness of his distinctive visual lexicon provides a point of entry for a multitude of interpretations to unfold. Mandelbaum thus enables each viewer to take on the process of decoding his language, enlivening new narratives and histories.

This June, Etesian brings together three solo exhibitions, each presented in a different space within the gallery.

The programme celebrates the unique vision of three artists whose works, while distinct in approach and medium, share a strong sense of presence and individuality. Moving from one room to the next, visitors are invited to experience three separate worlds and the unexpected conversations that emerge between them.

Together, these exhibitions mark the beginning of the summer season and reflect the gallery’s ongoing commitment to presenting thoughtful and engaging contemporary art.
